Nearly one in four Kentucky kids have experienced at least two ACEs, which can increase the risk of developing health issues and engaging in risky behavior in adulthood.Child Poverty and Racial Disparities
For child poverty, one in five children, or 21%, in Kentucky still live in poverty. Among them, 38% are Black children and 28% are Latinx children, compared to only 18% of white children.
