Twenty years have passed since socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie spent a month at a family farm in Arkansas for the first season of their reality show. Now, their lives have taken on new dimensions with husbands, kids, businesses, and responsibilities. But their bond remains strong.

Reuniting for a Special Opera Project

For their televised reunion, these lifelong friends joined forces to create an opera out of their "iconic" childhood song, "Sanasa." Their three-part special, "Paris & Nicole: The Encore," is set to premiere on Peacock on December 12.

Do they know how to produce an opera? The answer is no. But that doesn't deter them. As Richie notes, "‘The Simple Life’ has apparently been having a moment on Tiktok, and our kids have been watching clips. That was a big part of why I decided to do this reunion."

Hilton, who has two kids under 2, shares that her son Phoenix and daughter London "loved" attending the "Sanasapera." Phoenix has even learned "Sanasa" and they do it together all the time.

Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton upped the glam factor in their new three-part reunion special. Phoenix takes music classes with his sister, and there's a cute connection with Ashley Benson's daughter, Aspen. "They're the same age, and they're so cute together," Hilton says. "I'm excited to see the lifelong memories they'll create."

The Realities of Motherhood

The moms admit that motherhood has its challenges. For Hilton, it's the frequent travel for work. For Richie, it's "all the driving around LA."

When asked how they would react if their kids decided to film a reality show one day, Richie says, "Your 20s are about taking adventures and trying new things. I look back on 'The Simple Life' and I've changed, but I would be supportive. I think you've got to take chances."

Hilton, who notes that Richie's kids are "so sweet" and "don't get in trouble," says she would also be supportive of her own kids doing anything that makes them happy. But she hopes they won't want to do a reality show.

Danny Jones, the renowned McFly star, has bravely shared a harrowing experience from his time in camp. The weather turned extremely bad on several occasions, leading to their evacuation not once but twice. They were forced to take shelter in the Bush Telegraph, enduring cramped and boiling-hot conditions with 12 of them close together. The relentless rain also brought an unwelcome guest - leeches. Danny was constantly on leech check, a daily battle against these pesky creatures.

Real Camaraderie Amidst Atrocious Weather

During this challenging time, there was a remarkable sense of camaraderie among the contestants. The record rainfall that hit the camp brought them closer together. In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, Danny opened up about the storm and also talked about being reunited with his wife Georgia and son Cooper in camp.The moment he saw Cooper's little smile and excited face was truly a beautiful one. It was pure love and emotion. Going into I'm a Celebrity, Danny's focus was to make Cooper proud, and it was evident from their conversation that he had achieved just that. Cooper had even been trying to imitate his dad on TV by creating his own Bushtucker trials at home.

Lockdown and Long Separation

In addition to the three weeks in camp, Danny was on lockdown without his phone for a further week. This was a long time away from Georgia and Cooper. Even during their tours, they usually came home on weekends. But this time, there was no contact for a whole month. Georgia was overjoyed to see her husband again. She expressed her pride in him, and Danny couldn't hold back his tears. It was a moment that kept him going through the testing times.

Dealing with Anxiety and Emotional Outbursts

Danny has also been open about his struggles with anxiety. He started therapy at 19 years old after his dad left home. During his time in I'm a Celebrity, it all became too much at one point, but he was comforted by Tulisa Contostavlos and Oti Mabuse. His McFly bandmates also showed their emotions. When he Face-Timed Dougie Poynter shortly after leaving camp, Dougie was left in tears by his victory. Dougie's words, "Mate, I'm so proud of my best mate, and every time I watched you, I just had tears in my eyes," were an extra special moment. Coming from Dougie, who won the same show 13 years ago, meant a lot.They don't usually talk like that in their everyday lives, but in that moment, it was incredible. On the way back in the stretch hummer from camp to his hotel, Danny watched video messages from his other bandmates. Dougie was awake as he was in the Bahamas, while the other boys had done little videos online for him.
