Comer con Atención Plena

Durante las fiestas, es importante comer con atención plena. Esto significa evitar comer en exceso durante el día y centrarse en alimentos nutritivos. No esperemos solo a la cena para disfrutar de una comida saludable. Al comer con calma y disfrutando cada bocado, podemos sentirnos más satisfechos y evitar el sobrepeso. Cuando nos sentimos satisfechos, debemos dejar de comer. No dejemos que las fiestas arruinen todo el trabajo que hemos hecho para cuidar nuestra salud.

Si por alguna razón comemos algo en lo que nos excedemos, podemos retomar nuestro plan de alimentación al día siguiente. Esto nos ayuda a mantener un estilo de vida saludable a largo plazo.

Pan de Manzana Saludable

Para preparar un pan de manzana saludable, necesitamos los siguientes ingredientes: 1 manzana mediana con cáscara rallada (1¼ taza sin presionar), 1 taza puré de manzana sin azúcar, 3 cucharadas azúcar, ⅓ taza aceite vegetal, 1 cucharadita bicarbonato de sodio, 1 cucharadita canela en polvo, ⅛ cucharadita sal y 1 taza harina integral y 1 taza avena molida.

Preparamos el pan precalentando el horno a 350 Farenheit. En un envase grande, mezclamos todos los ingredientes. Rociamos un molde rectangular 8.5” x 4.5” con aerosol antiadherente y añadimos la mezcla. Horneamos por 60 minutos o hasta que al insertar un palillo en el centro del pan este salga limpio. Luego, lo sacamos del horno y lo dejamos enfriar. Finalmente, lo cortamos en 12 rebanadas de 0.6”.

En cuanto a las sustituciones, podemos usar otras variedades de manzanas dulces como Honeycrisp y Fuji en lugar de la manzana Gala. También podemos sustituir el azúcar por un sustituto de azúcar para reducir la ingesta de azúcares añadidos. Además, podemos añadir nuez inglesa para dar un toque crujiente, aunque el valor nutricional cambiará. Si no toleramos el gluten, podemos cambiar la harina integral por harina sin gluten, lo que también afectará al valor nutricional.

Este pan de manzana es una opción saludable que podemos disfrutar durante las fiestas.
