After a tumultuous summer, the Texas A&M baseball team has finally found some stability. During their Fall ball schedule, we got a glimpse of the potential of the 2025 team as they dominated the scoreboard. First-year head coach Mike Earley has done an exceptional job in bringing back a talented group from the College World Series team and has continued to build on that success by signing a top-ten class.

No. 20 - Josiah Hartshorn: A Power-Hitting Outfielder

Josiah Hartshorn, a 2025 OF/1B from Anaheim, CA, stands at 6-2 and weighs 220 lbs. His large frame is filled with strength and physicality. As a primarily left-handed hitter, he has a medium base and an open setup with a quick leg lift trigger. His uphill stroke is characterized by impressive bat speed, allowing him to generate massive power to the pull side. Currently, he has the potential for pull-side power that will likely develop into all-fields power in the future. He is an excellent student and has committed to Texas A&M. He was also selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.In addition to his hitting prowess, Hartshorn's speed is also noteworthy. He recorded a 6.65-second 60-yard dash time, which gives him an edge on the basepaths. His combination of power and speed makes him a dangerous player and a valuable addition to the Texas A&M team.

No. 31 - Nicholas Partida: A Versatile Infielder and Pitcher

Nicholas Partida, a 2025 SS/RHP/3B from Manvel, TX, measures 6-0 and weighs 190 lbs. He has a medium athletic build with good present strength. As a shortstop, he impresses with his smooth footwork and clean glove actions. His quick exchange allows him to make accurate throws with plenty of carry. He also showed his arm strength in the outfield, where he can make throws from a higher slot with great accuracy.On the pitching side, Partida throws from an over-the-top arm slot with a high front side and a very fast arm. His fastball sits in the 94-96 mph range with 19″ of IVB, getting on hitters quickly. He also has a curveball with big sweeping break and a changeup. His ability to pitch and play multiple positions makes him a versatile asset to the Texas A&M team. He is a very good student and has committed to Arizona State. He was also selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.

No. 62 - Boston Kellner: A Solid Third Baseman and Outfielder

Boston Kellner, a 2025 3B/RHP/MIF from Chandler, AZ, is 6-0 and weighs 205 lbs. He has a large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength. His 6.59 60-yard dash time shows his speed on the basepaths. As a third baseman, he has sound fundamentals and works through the backhand with clean actions. He plays with confidence and has plenty of arm and carry for the left side.In the outfield, Kellner shows excellent athleticism with clean actions on the approach and a shorter arm stroke with big carry out of the hand. His right-handed hitting style incorporates physical strength well, and he can drive the ball with authority despite a low effort swing. He has an exit velocity of 101 in testing and is an excellent student.

No. 72 - Luke Billings: A Versatile Outfielder and Pitcher

Luke Billings, a 2025 OF/RHP/C from Prosper, TX, is 6-2 and weighs 190 lbs. His physical frame is filled with well-proportioned strength. As an outfielder, he has a shorter arm path but excellent carry on throws up to 94 mph. His throws are accurate and come out of the hand well. He also worked behind the plate during drills, showing his versatility.As a right-handed pitcher, Billings has a compact arm stroke through a high three-quarters arm slot. His fastball can reach up to 93 mph and shows good horizontal bite on a short, bullet slider. He has good fastball command to both sides of the plate and also shows feel for a changeup. His right-handed hitting style has a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. His fast hands and linear path give him good rhythm in the swing, and he has flashed good power with quality bat speed. He is a great student and has committed to Texas A&M.

No. 120 - Matthew Boughton: A Projectable Shortstop

Matthew Boughton, a 2025 SS/2B from Colleyville, TX, is 6-1 and weighs 165 lbs. He has a slender athletic build with some wiry strength that is still developing. His 6.43-second 60-yard dash time shows his speed. As a shortstop, he has rhythm and smoothness to his actions and footwork, with outstanding range and soft, quick hands. His solid arm strength allows him to play confidently and under control.On the hitting side, Boughton starts from a balanced straight stance and has fast hands that get the barrel through quickly. He has some lift in his swing, which gives him potential for future power. If he can continue to get stronger, his bat speed will be even more impressive. He is an excellent student and has committed to Texas A&M.Overall, Coach Earley has pulled in a great class that can add depth at multiple positions and set up the program to be a powerhouse for years to come.
