Photographer bioreconstruct captured stunning construction photos of Universal Epic Universe from a helicopter on Nov. 15, 2024. Among them, a peek at the park's central hub revealed a potentially iconic piece of landscaping. In the back of Celestial Park, surrounding the central hub's large fountain, construction workers have recently laid grass turf along a terraced area. Although it's only in one spot for now, it is expected to continue around the perimeter of the fountain, providing a perfect space for guests to enjoy the fountain or simply relax. This is similar to the "hub grass" at Disney's Magic Kingdom, which has become a beloved spot for picnics, parade viewing, and moments of respite.Just imagine, by May 2025, you could be lounging on the Epic Universe hub grass while spending a busy day training dragons and kart-racing. Back in 2015, across town at Disney's Magic Kingdom, a central hub makeover took place in front of Cinderella Castle. This makeover included the addition of two courtyards covered in astro turf grass, which fans nicknamed the "hub grass." Today, this area is still widely used by guests for various activities. Now, it seems that Epic Universe is following suit. The presence of the hub grass in Epic Universe serves the same function as its counterpart at Magic Kingdom, offering a peaceful oasis in the midst of the park's excitement. Matt's Take On The Amazing Race
Matt finds the idea of another adventure on The Amazing Race enticing. Imagine getting more TV time, a chance at a big prize, and traveling the world with someone you deeply love and respect. As he said to Us Weekly: "I've been trying to convince Frannie to do The Amazing Race with me the entire time. She's a bit more Survivor or bust, but I think it would be so much fun. And we would crush it. It might not be easy as contestants face different time zones, various physically and mentally demanding challenges, and the need to navigate foreign cities without Google maps and maybe not speaking the language. But I appreciate his chutzpah."However, it's important to note that the challenges on The Amazing Race are no joke. Contestants have to adapt quickly and work together in ways that might be different from their Survivor experience.
Frannie's Take On Hopping From Survivor To The Amazing Race
Frannie, being a "type A" personality, finds Matt's more go-with-the-flow attitude endearing. But she's not sure it would help them in The Amazing Race. She shared her skepticism, saying, "My whole life, I plan trips down to the moment. I've never missed a flight. But since dating Matt, I've missed two flights. We might not thrive on The Amazing Race."There are similarities and differences between The Amazing Race and Survivor. Both have a social element where teams can choose to help or not help each other. There are competitive challenges in both, and both recently switched to a 90-minute format. But in The Amazing Race, the team component plays a bigger role, and there are only 11 teams instead of 18-20 contestants. It's easier to win but also easier to lose early.
Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich, who both competed on Survivor and did well on The Amazing Race, set a precedent. Natalie Anderson and Nadiya Anderson also had similar experiences.
