Để hỗ trợ hoạt động KCB tốt hơn, quy định đã tăng mức phân bổ từ nguồn thu BHYT lên 92%. Đồng thời, giảm số tiền dành cho quỹ dự phòng, tổ chức hoạt động quỹ BHYT xuống 8%. Điều này sẽ giúp cải thiện tài nguyên cho các hoạt động y tế.

Bộ Y tế có trách nhiệm trong việc rà soát và cập nhật thường xuyên phác đồ điều trị bảo đảm thuận tiện trong KCB và thanh toán BHYT. Đồng thời, quy định về việc liên thông và sử dụng kết quả cận lâm sàng (xét nghiệm, chụp chẩn đoán…) liên thông giữa các cơ sở KCB cũng được rõ ràng hóa.
