Antarctica: The Challenging Start

Rogers faced extreme conditions as he began the race in Antarctica. The below-freezing temperatures and the unique environment of Wolf's Fang runway presented a significant challenge. But he didn't let that deter him. He pushed through the cold and started his journey with determination. "It was a tough start, but I knew I had to keep going. The sense of accomplishment when I crossed that finish line in Antarctica was indescribable," he said.

Running in such extreme conditions required a lot of preparation and mental strength. Rogers trained hard to ensure he could handle the rigors of the race. He knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible adventure.

South Africa: A New Experience

Australia: A Test of Endurance

Perth, Australia, was the next stop on Rogers' journey. The long distances and the hot climate tested his endurance like never before. "Running in Australia was a real test. The heat was intense, and the distances were long, but I kept pushing myself. I knew that every step brought me closer to my goal," he said.

He had to adapt to the new environment and find ways to stay hydrated and energized. But his determination never wavered. "I learned a lot about myself during this leg of the race. I discovered that I have more strength and endurance than I thought," he added.

Turkey: A Cultural Encounter

Istanbul, Turkey, offered a unique cultural experience for Rogers. The city's rich history and beautiful architecture added to the charm of the race. "Running through Istanbul was a dream come true. The combination of history and running was truly special. I felt like I was part of something bigger," he said.

He also had the opportunity to interact with the local people and learn about their culture. This added a new dimension to his running journey. "The people in Istanbul were so friendly and welcoming. It made the whole experience even more memorable," he said.

Colombia: A Vibrant Finish

Cartagena, Colombia, was the final leg of the race. The vibrant culture and the beautiful beaches made it a fitting end to an amazing journey. "Running in Colombia was a blast. The energy and the enthusiasm of the people were infectious. It was a great way to finish the race," he said.

Despite the challenges along the way, Rogers never gave up. His perseverance and determination paid off when he crossed the finish line in Miami, USA. "I'm so proud of what I've accomplished. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'll never forget," he said.

Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas shared a special moment at a friend's wedding in March 2024 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Born in May 1992, Rojas grew up in Carmel, N.Y. Raised by his parents, Henry and Marga Rojas, along with his sister, he graduated from Carmel High School in 2010. He was actively involved in the jazz band, wind ensemble, and both basketball and baseball varsity teams.During his college years, Rojas attended the University of Buffalo from 2010 to 2011. They started dating in September 2023 after an “accidental date”

Green told PEOPLE that she and Rojas began dating in September 2023 after what she called an “accidental date.” Towards the end of the summer, they had plans to go to a nice restaurant with a friend who canceled at the last minute. Green was nervous as she wasn't sure if it was a date or not. But Rojas didn't hesitate and halfway through the dinner, he said he was enjoying it and asked if he could take her on a real date. They sat for three or four hours just talking, and the rest is history.

She appreciates how good at “listening” and “caring” he is

During a January 2024 appearance on The Viall Files, Green shared that one of the things she loves most about Rojas is his ability to listen. She said that for a long time, he would just listen to her and she wondered if he cared. But he would respond by saying that he had a lot to say but was just listening to her get things out. When comparing her relationship with Rojas to her past with Shep Rose, Green said it comes down to “listening and caring and actually being invested in my life, even if it seems silly.” She also mentioned that she overthinks everything and Rojas tells her to stop, which is something she never had in her previous relationships.
