จากการตรวจสอบโทรศัพท์ของคนขับรถพบว่ามีการแชตหาคนวิ่งรับรถ “วิ่งดาวน์ เวฟ 125 ตัวใหม่ ยืมดาวน์ 12,000 จบหน้างาน 45,000 ณัฐพงษ์มอเตอร์ จ.หนองบัวลำภู รับรถบ่ายโมง”.นายวิศรุต ผู้ต้องหา รับสารภาพว่า ตนจะรับงานจากทางกลุ่มเฟซบุ๊ก แล้วแต่จะได้รับแจ้งมา จะได้ค่าจ้าง บางคันก็ 1,500 บาท หรือ 2,000 บาท แล้วแต่ยี่ห้อและขนาด ขนเที่ยวหนึ่งได้ประมาณ 6 คัน. หักค่าน้ำมันแล้วก็จะได้ประมาณ 10,000 บาท. ก่อนหน้าหน้านี้ไปรับรถที่ จ.สกลนคร 1 คัน. จ.อุดรธานี 2 คัน. จ.หนองบัวลำภู 1 คัน. และ จ.หนองคาย 2 คัน. ปลายทางไปส่งที่กรุงเทพฯ. รถพวกนี้เป็นรถที่ลูกจะไปซื้อดาวน์มา แล้วเอามาขายต่อในกลุ่ม. ตนเคยทำมาก่อนหน้านี้แล้วและเลิกไป. เพิ่งกลับมาทำอีกไม่ถึง 2 เดือน. ตนเพียงแค่รับจ้างส่งเข้ากรุงเทพฯ. ไม่รู้เรื่องว่าเขาจะเอาไปที่ไหน. ไม่รู้ว่าจะส่งข้ามไปประเทศเพื่อนบ้านหรือไม่.

ด้านพนักงานฝ่ายเร่งรัดหนี้สิน ร้านณัฐพงษ์มอเตอร์ สาขา จ.หนองบัวลำภู ให้ข้อมูลว่า ทางบริษัทได้รับความเสียหายจากการที่ลูกค้ามาซื้อรถจักรยานยนต์ด้วยเงินดาวน์. แล้วจะมาแจ้งว่ารถหาย. เนื่องจากบริษัทมีการทำประกันรถหายไว้. จึงอาจเป็นช่องทางในการฉ้อโกงได้. จากการสืบค้นพบว่ามีเฟซบุ๊กหลายบัญชี เปิดเพื่อรับซื้อรถประเภทนี้อย่างโจ่งแจ้ง. เคสนี้มีผู้หญิงรายหนึ่งชาว จ.หนองบัวลำภู มาติดต่อซื้อรถ. มีท่าทางพิรุธ ถ่ายรูปรถไว้หลายคัน. ต่อมาสืบทราบผ่านเฟซบุ๊กชื่อว่า “อรัญ ดาวน์รถแลกเงิน” มีการโพสต์ขายรถของทางบริษัทลงในฟีด. เป็นรถคันที่ผู้หญิงตกลงซื้อ. จึงได้ทำการซ้อนแผนขายรถให้ผู้หญิง. มีการนัดรับรถกันวันนี้.“จากนั้นได้ทำการแจ้งความไว้ที่ สภ.เมืองหนองบัวลำภู แล้วสะกดรอยตามผู้หญิงคนดังกล่าว. จนไปเจอว่าได้มีการนัดให้กระบะตู้ทึบคันดังกล่าวมารับรถไป.ระหว่างนั้นพวกตนเกรงว่าชายคนนั้นจะมีอาวุธ. จึงโทรฯแจ้งตำรวจให้มาตรวจสอบ. แต่ก็มาไม่ทัน.กระบะตู้ทึบวิ่งเข้ามาที่ จ.อุดรธานี. พวกตนจึงมาทันกันที่ปั๊มน้ำมัน. แล้วโทรฯแจ้งตำรวจมาจับกุม.”
