Với mức giá bán 756 triệu đồng, M6 trở thành một lựa chọn hấp dẫn và cạnh tranh hơn hẳn so với mức 1,23 tỷ đồng của "đồng hương" Haima 7X-E.Thay vì "SUV hóa" như một số đối thủ, BYD đã chọn duy trì những đường nét mềm mại của MPV truyền thống ở ngoại thất của M6. Điểm nhấn nổi bật là phần đầu xe với ngôn ngữ thiết kế Dragon Face, gồm dải trang trí màu bạc to bản nối liền cụm đèn pha full-LED dạng thấu kính.
