How Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck's Kids View Their Thanksgiving Reunion
2024-12-02
After Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck "celebrated Thanksgiving as a family," a source shed light on how their kids truly felt about this reunion. The kids, it seems, hold a special place in their hearts for having everyone together. Jen hosted the dinner at her house, and the celebration was made even more delightful as their eldest daughter, Violet, came home from Yale University for the holiday break.

The Exes and Their Kids' Thanksgiving Bond

Love at the Thanksgiving Table

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's kids reportedly "loved" celebrating Thanksgiving with them. Their shared history and the bond they have as a family shine through during these special occasions. The exes share three children - Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Each child adds a unique flavor to the family gathering.

An insider previously shared with Page Six that the "Argo" actor felt "blessed" to spend the holiday with his ex and their three children. He can simply be himself around them, and this sense of comfort is evident. Their relationship is strong and will never dissipate.

This year's holiday is not the first time they've celebrated Thanksgiving together since their divorce in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. A source previously told Page Six that they have spent other Thanksgivings with their kids after the split. They'll always be close because of their shared children and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship.

Helping Those in Need

Earlier on Thanksgiving Day, the former couple and their kids showed their kindness by helping to feed 2,000 people at the Midnight Mission homeless shelter's annual Thanksgiving Street Fair. It's a beautiful display of their compassion and unity.

While Ben Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Lopez celebrated Thanksgiving with her family, posting a photo of her with a turkey on Friday, the Garner-Affleck family had their own special moments together.

Garner has been dating John Miller since 2018, and it's unclear if he was present for Thanksgiving. But the focus remains on the family and their Thanksgiving traditions.

AI Transforms Imaging as FDA Approvals Keep Rising at RSNA
2024-12-02
If it's the week following Thanksgiving, the Radiological Society of North America's annual meeting takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago. From December 1st to 5th, tens of thousands of imaging, IT, and informatics professionals from over 120 countries gather to get a close look at new hardware and software and learn about clinical innovations. Just like in healthcare everywhere else, artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the imaging profession, as evidenced by a new KLAS study.

KLAS Study Highlights in Imaging AI

The Imaging AI 2024 research report shows that the number of FDA-approved AI tools for imaging has surged to over 300 in just a few years, with no sign of the approvals slowing down. In 2018, only 17% of interviewed organizations were piloting or using an AI solution, but now over 50% of surveyed organizations are using AI algorithms for at least one imaging use case. This indicates the rapid pace of change in the imaging industry. 1: The regulatory landscape has played a significant role in this transformation. As it has changed, attitudes towards and adoption of new imaging AI platforms, operational and reporting automations, and other AI tools have also evolved. This has opened up new possibilities and challenges for imaging professionals. 2: To understand the various ways AI is changing the imaging and radiology landscape, KLAS researchers surveyed over 200 organizations. About 25% of them were imaging groups, and the rest were US health systems. This data provides valuable insights into the current state of AI in imaging.
