This event provided an incredible opportunity for more than 250 kids in East Tennessee to go on a shopping spree at Target. Weigel's, a renowned convenience store chain based in Powell, Tennessee, took the initiative and provided the necessary funding to make this happen. 259 kids were able to spend $200 each, fulfilling their Christmas wishes.

Bill Weigel's Perspective

Bill Weigel, the chairman of the board at Weigel's, shared his thoughts on the event. He emphasized how much fun it is for everyone involved. "This is their Christmas. It's a moment when they can do exactly what they desire. Whether it's a toy, a book, or something else, they get to choose. And if they go a bit over the budget, that's perfectly fine. If they end up with $220, it's all good," he said. "I can't express enough how much joy it brings to us, not just the kids."
